The Pompeian Styles are many and different from the periods distinguished by the German archaeologist August Mau. All that is now to update.
This book shows a big part of interior decoration destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The unsaid and renoved stylistic Roman painting is here alive and invites to a travel through time, with images and words of an “Art-History novel”
