The Liminal Line

Beneath the streets of Daybridge lies a transit system that shouldn't exist. When graduate student Robert North discovers a subway entrance on a street that's never had one, he embarks on an impossible journey through multiple versions of his city—each stop revealing a Daybridge subtly different from the one he knows. As his trips on the mysterious Liminal Line grow more frequent, he discovers the stations connect not just locations, but entire realities, and that the distinguished physicist who seems to be following him understands far more about these dimensional pathways than he admits.

When the boundaries between realities begin to collapse, Robert must navigate quantum physics, strange architecture, and his own fragmented memories to understand his connection to the impossible subway. With reality itself becoming increasingly unstable, he joins forces with a rare book dealer who monitors dimensional breaches and the enigmatic Station Master who maintains the transit system. Together, they race to close a temporal loop before all versions of Daybridge collapse into a single point of catastrophic convergence—a journey that will challenge everything Robert understands about the nature of reality and his own place within it.
