Jason, Piper, and Leo, three students at a wilderness school for troubled teens, are transported to Camp Half-Blood after an unexpected encounter with evil storm spirits on the rim of the Grand Canyon. Not only do they discover that they are the offspring of ancient gods, but they also learn that they are three of seven demigods mentioned in the Great Prophecy uttered by Rachel in The Last Olympian. Richtig gut! Hat sic schnell durchgelesen,
An die neuen gewöhnt man sich schnell, es wiederholt sich einnbisschen vom storyschema, aber einfach nur spannend!
Gute Unterhaltung
Rick Riordans Percy Jackson Serie muss sich immer damit konfrontieren lassen ein Harry Potter abklatsch zu sein und nun setzt er seine eigene, eigentlich abgeschlossene Serie weiter fort. Das lässt den Abklatsch eines Abklatschs befürchten.
Doch obwohl die Handlung von „The Lost Hero“ stark an die Percy Jackson Romane erinnert, ist das Buch sehr unterhaltsam zu lesen und gewinnt dem ganze Szenario durchaus neue Aspekte ab. Die Atmosphäre ist düsterer geworden und die Protagonisten problembeladener. Das Alter der Held(innen) passt besser zur Handlung (bei den ersten Percy Jackson Büchern passte das was dem Ich-Erzähler Percy in den Mund gelegt wurde nicht wirklich zu einem zwölfjährigen Jungen.)
Die Art und Weise wie Riordan die alten griechisch/römischen Mythen in seine Erzählungen einbindet finde ich immer noch sehr originell und er findet auch noch reichlich alte Geschichten die er integrieren kann ohne sich zu wiederholen.
Fazit: Ich wurde wirklich gut unterhalten und auch „Heroes of Olympus„ wird eine Serie die ich gerne bis zum Ende lesen werde.
