THE MAGICAL GOSLINGS

THE MAGICAL GOSLINGS is a 50-page multimedia chapter book loosely based on a true story about a much loved gaggle of geese that has lived in a small historic village in Maine since 1955. The postman delivers a big box from a mysterious stranger for Dollie, the big yellow dog. The toilet trained rabbit, the four cats, and Dollie gather inside the house to see what is in box. Emmett is not allowed to join them because he is not toilet trained. Emmett’s feelings are hurt.  He is also a little jealous that Dollie has received a special gift from someone she does not even know.  When another box appears, this time for Emmett, everyone thinks it is a gift from the same mysterious stranger.  Everyone wants to know, “What is in the box?”  It turns out to be the most special gift that ever was.  THE MAGICAL GOSLINGS integrates hand drawn illustrations with three short videos and photos of the wildlife living between the Fore River Sanctuary and the Stroudwater River. THE MAGICAL GOSLINGS is Book 3 of The Adventures of Emmett the Goose series for ages 5 to 8.
