Not very profound, lots of repetition

The idea of setting up the mood for the day by intentionally getting up early, meditate and exercise is a good one. The author, however, can only cite anecdotal evidence on how this habit improves people's lives. It would have been interesting to know why this early morning habit seems to have that effect, why it is widely adopted e. g by monks and in many religious traditions (does it have to do with human biology?). But all that is not found in the book. The author almost exclusively talks about himself (e.g. he has found that how much sleep he needs depends on what he tells himself) and how his morning routine helps him reach his full potential. Also, the talking about "achieving everything you want and you deserve" sounds very old fashioned 90's self-help book to me. Sorry.
