The Naked Emperor's New Idea

All I offer to my readers is a front row seat to a wordsmith’s satirically seedy self-exorcism. It’s a dark and twisted road Punctuated by as many points of Light & Laughter as there are bulbs on Broadway.
Oftentimes we lock our darkest moments away. In doing this, the ego and id are doomed to operate off of the same instincts and impulses again and again, circling our lives round and round to the doom of similar experiences. However, in the humorous examination of these instincts, you can unearth the tools to rule these precocious proclivities.
Also, in the process of conscripting these these vintage vignettes to the electronic page with an audience in mind, I am able to step back and detach myself...to a degree...from my feelings in their time. This retrospective reverie allows me to look at events through a 'rosier' prescription for my lenses and laugh at the punchlines folded in with the horrors. A true sign that forgiveness/adjustment/acceptance has entered your heart, in regards to the injustices life may have dealt you, is the ability to laugh about them. If you can laugh about the most traumatic events in your own life...trust me...you'll be ok. If you can’t find anything to laugh about...you’re not telling the whole truth.
