The Noblest Knight

Thomas Randolph, the Earl of Moray, rides with the King as they drive the last English invaders from Scotland, but Robert the Bruce is beginning to fail. His time is running perilously short. The earl knows that he must broker peace with England before the King dies, otherwise the English will surely seize the opportunity to invade.

But even as Thomas negotiates in France for allies, he must hedge against time, and returns to lead his army into England to counter new English aggression. The legacy of his King, confidante, and friend falls upon him alone, and the slightest misstep could lose forever Scotland's newly restored freedom.
