The Parent Plan

It doesn’t matter how sexy Ben Strother is; he’s Stephanie Webb’s boss at the ad agency where she’s an assistant creative director, so they can never have a relationship. Besides, they’re a poor match. She’s a working-class woman, stubborn and quirky and a free spirit. He’s polished, wealthy, and a bit starchy. But that doesn’t mean they can’t plot to set Ben’s widowed father up with Stephanie’s widowed mother.

The problem is, Ben’s father and Stephanie’s mother believe Ben and Stephanie are perfect for each other, and are working hard to get their children to acknowledge the obvious, settle down, and produce some grandchildren. Sneaking, scheming, and comic confrontations ensue as two generations of Webbs and Strothers labor at cross-purposes while wrestling with their own romantic entanglements.
