The Perfect Crime

Seven deadly sins. Seven professional thieves. Seventy million dollars.

Mr Sunday has designed the perfect crime.

He assembles six criminals, each chosen for a particular talent and a particular weakness: greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth. Together with Sunday's pride, they form a team capable of stealing $70 million from a secretive Roman bank.

The plan is meticulous. The victim cannot complain. The bank cannot admit the money existed. And if everything goes according to plan, there will be no crime for the police to investigate.

There is just one problem.

Inspector Vito Carbone doesn't believe in perfect crimes.

And when somebody boasts online about a robbery that officially never happened, Carbone and Sergeant Carmel Lombardo begin asking precisely the questions nobody wants answered.

The perfect crime has been committed.

Now all Mr Sunday has to do is get away with it.
