The Search for Home: A Post Apocalyptic Novel

In the final book of the Humanity Abides Series, Mark Teller, his wife and family and a small group of friends, leave their sheltered valley in New Mexico to head for California. Trying to find out if anyone else has survived, they travel across country, finding good and evil people... and danger, along the way.
Once lost, freedom is hard to regain, as gangs, militias and the government all try to take control and gain power over the survivors of a devastating nuclear war.
