The Singled Person

“The Singled Person” is an installation of unsynchronized slide projectors. Each exhibition is designed with the particular space in mind and is therefore unique. Shown at several photo festivals around the world, the project combines the work of different photographers who share a subtle and impressionistic approach to reality.  The first projection started with six photographers and each one, showed his work on one slide projector. Over time, the project has grown to eight photographers.


In 2009 we published “The Singled Person” as a printed book. During the editing of the book, our goal was to transfer the concept of the installation into paper form. Now, in this eBook version we would like to give you an even closer look. On the following pages, you can view the complete series, each photographer showed during the time the original book was published and you will find some background information on the project as well as the photographers.
