The Sorceresses Splendor

Book four of The Aurora Chronicles begins and ends with an explosion of problems. Aurora has saved all her companions from the enslavement in The Brown Expanse only to discover that Al has been chosen to become the champion of Black Magic for the bitchy Goddess Tharona and is being trained to fight... That's right, to fight Aurora as the champion of White Magic. She didn't even know she was the champion. Anyway, she isn't about to let that happen and treks across the frozen northern wastes to find and rescue Al, little knowing that the Demon-spawn have breached The Barrier Mountains and are laying waste to The Land of the Five Rivers. So now Aurora will have to make a decision: save Al or fight the Demon-spawn. She isn't even sure if she wants to fight the Demon-spawn....
