Horace Ford was Champion Archer of England 1850 to 1859 and in 1867. His writings first appeared as a series of articles in the columns of the 'Field,' which were republished in book form in 1856; a second edition was published in 1859. This update was published in 1887, a must for all Archers, the equipment may have changed but some of the techniques remain.
