The Toe Incident

Martine has several reasons for not wanting anyone to know how a man named CJ broke his toe. It's all she can do to make her best friend Paula keep her mouth shut about it. Add in a teenage daughter who has turned into a preachy vegetarian, and an employee who needs a ride to his shrink while his car is in the shop, and Martine more than has her hands full in this funny, bittersweet story by Mary Kitt-Neel.
