The Tree Planter

The Tree Planter is an illustrated children's story, where a young man goes for a walk in the wilderness in central France. He meets a man, who is working alone to regenerate the countryside, which has become more like a desert. Over the years, the young man goes back to visit the tree planter and finds out that sometimes Jacques's plans worked, sometimes they didn't. However, he never gives up and over three decades, the area is transformed into a beautiful natural paradise, where people come back to. They can join in celebrating nature and living in alignment with it because of the work of Jacques Lesage.
The Tree Planter is an inspirational story of never giving up on realising one's dreams.
