The Waiting Room

Colin just woke up in a white waiting room. The walls are bare of anything but the large windows. Glimpses through the off-white blinds show impossible things. Some occupants of the room fear the other side of the window glass, while others are drawn to it. The receptionist calls them, one by one, away from the mysterious windows and through the plain office door where Colin has yet to see anyone return. He wonders how long until she calls his name.
