The Wedding Weekend

Alice never thought she’d see her daughter marry without her husband at her side. She’s powerless to keep the future from coming, or the past from haunting her every waking moment.

With back-to-back weddings at the North Star Inn, Alice is in no position to put out her friends’ or families’ fires. But that’s just what happens when her sisters show up with disasters that can’t wait. A phone call from her father sends her world spinning, nearly drowning Alice in fears of what the future will look like. Thankfully, Will is a constant at her side.

As guests arrive at the Inn for the weekend’s festivities, Alice realizes that her family isn’t the only one facing challenges. Her guests Skye and Penelope have their own demons to battle. Skye can’t seem to find anything in common with her overbearing mother and is suddenly questioning everything from her past. With only hours until she plans to walk down the aisle to the man she loves, a ghost appears she never even knew she was hiding from. Her best friend and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Penelope, is hardly the model of support.

But Skye doesn’t know that Penelope is facing the biggest decision on her own life—continue down her current comfortable path, or walk away from everything she knows to achieve the goal she set for herself years ago.
