The Yellow Notebook

A helpless young girl alone on the Dark Continent. She doesn't speak the language, she knows no one and her family is far across the ocean. Being kept in a hellish underground prison, she knows there is no hope of rescue or escape. In addition to all her troubles, no fresh air is coming into the well-sealed prison.

She had been promised that her body parts would be harvested, bit by bit, for the magical medicine of the natives. All this will be done, while she is alive and feeling every bit of pain. It is better to use the body parts while it is still “alive and full of fear”, she was told.

With nothing to do and no air coming in, she only has her imagination and her dreams.
