The Z Directive: Mutation

After successfully rescuing Dr. Emma Reed and the information she had taken regarding the outbreak of the zombie virus that was ravaging the world, Jack Ramsay and his team have been operating near constantly in an effort to slow the advance of the undead - trying with limited success.

When information is decoded revealing that there is another secret facility ran by Bolvinox - the corporation responsible for the virus - near to their base of operations, Jack and his team prepare to assault it in an effort to recover more data that might help them find a way to tip the balance back in their favor.

What they find in the secret base, however, is far more terrifying than they could've imagined. Facing near overwhelming numbers of the infected, Jack and the others discover that there's far worse down in those dark corridors than the infected. The virus is mutating, and in its new form a horrific glimpse of future infected is revealed.
