This Much is True is a sequel to Summer of the Aliens and Cost  and completes the semi-autobiographical trilogy about Louis Nowra's surrogate protagonist.


Now older, and possibly wiser, Lewis is a writer 'between divorces' and temporarily adrift. He is once more drawn into a colourful world of outsiders and dropouts. this time habitues of an inner-city Sydney pub, all of them searching for magic in the mundane.
