The early poems are written when the author was a graduate student in Cape Town, South Africa. Through soul searching in France, while her family coped with challenges in Zimbabwe. The journey continues with several years at a retreat house in the UK. Finally, returning to Cape Town and to the search for new anti-malarial drugs.
