"Tis A Far, Far Better Thing" is a 21st century love story. The story of a man who could not love, a woman who would not. Gregg Gunderson and Sarah Godwin came together in a blaze of sexual fury. They could not keep their hands off each other, but they agreed to live a life without boundaries. Either could have sex with anyone as long as they kept their affairs away from each other secret. Which was the only way they could stay together. He was a man who fired people and demolished companies for a living, she was a photographer with a touch of genius and an affinity for Barack Obama and the Palestinian cause.

This story is set in the universe of the First Coast stories taking place in Northeast Florida during the dawn of the 21st century. It is not a part of the story line of "When We Were Married," but many of the characters come from that four-volume continuing series.
