To Be Somebody

When Professor Donna Manley receives a book contract from a publisher in August 2014, she has no idea that the search for additional details the publisher requires will take her from her college in Buffalo, NY all the way to Hollywood and back. Nor does she know that, along the way, she will find herself on one of the USA's top late-night talk shows where an off-hand remark she makes on camera will inspire a lawsuit from Hollywood A-lister, Cammie Cavazian. She also doesn't know that help in getting the lawsuit dropped will come from a major rock star, Burton Jones, who has gone into hiding in Toronto, ON to escape the celebrity treadmill, and also from a twelve-year old fan of Cammie's, Millie Wachowski, who lives not far from Donna and is deeply unhappy about her parents' decision to stop her gymnastics training. And, as Cammie herself doesn't yet know, between them, Donna, Burton and Millie will soon expose Cammie's darkest secrets.
