Nur mittelmäßig
Das Buch besteht aus 3 Teilen, die in unterschiedlichen Zeiten angesiedelt sind und außer der Örtlichkeit nichts miteinander zu tun haben.
Den 1.Teil fand ich sehr zäh und langweilig.
Der 2.Teil fing interessant an, wurde aber in der 2.Hälfte ebenfalls zäh, weil die Autorin die Ereignisse in einem nicht enden wollenden Brief erzählt.
Der 3.Teil ist sehr dystopisch und ich war sehr versucht, aufzugeben und das Buch wegzulegen. Aber beim Weiterlesen wurde es dann zunehmend interessanter.
Fazit: Nicht der große Wurf und kein Vergleich mit „Ein wenig Leben“. Für Leute mit wenig Zeit empfehle ich die ersten beiden Teile zu überspringen und nur den 3.Teil zu lesen, der immerhin 2/3 des Buches ausmacht.
