It features each of the “old style” labels being replaced with carefully crafted “new style” labels reflecting the turn of the century and also to upset the many imitators as stated inside the back cover! An omniscient skull and crow and even a goat’s head are illustrated. Most comedic is the “Ode for a Social Meeting-With Slight Alterations By a Teetotaler.” A timeless beer stain from a Lemp lager is left on the booklet to remind the reader of the days of glory this book has seen! The reader is spirited back to the turn of the nineteenth century while he charms his guests with all the wit and humor of the decadent, still-haunting age!
