Tree Weavers

In a remote area of the Brazilian Amazon jungle, a survery team and two federal agents responsible for protecting indigenous tribes encounter a groove of strange, twisted trees with trunks woven by women of an unknown lost tribe. These trees are sacred to the tribe, and their newly created shaman (via a secret ceremony) uses his powers of magic to disuade the "outsiders" and have them depart without bulldozing or cutting down any of the grove of twisted trees.

After the shaman is chosen in the sacred ceremony, another tribe's hidden warrior becomes curious and attempts to recreate the magical ceremony that he witnesssed and made the other tribsl shaman. Instead of goodness coming forth from his creation, this warrior succumbs to an evil that invades his body, removes all restrant, and creates an twin-appearing doppelganger of the other tribe's shaman.

Obcessed by evil, this "Evil One" tracks the outsiders, disrupts everything they try to get away, and the tale becomes one of death, struggles for survival, and escape from the bowels of the evil that seeks to destroy them. The other tribsal shaman recognzes a family connection to the female federal agent and finds himself locked into a battle to help the outsiders escape safely, as he attempts to counter the attacks of the "Evil One"
