Triple Play

Rhys Molson lives for baseball. it's one of the few things that has never let him down in his life. And he's always tried to give as much to it as it gives to him. If he could just stop craving the touch of his best friend before it wrecks their friendship and his place on the team. If only that was as easy as knowing which pitch to call for.

Alfredo Campos loves many things: his family back in Venezuela, his sister pursuing her medical degree in the states, baseball. Rhys Molson. He knows how to handle all of them except the last. He's lost more than one friend because he developed feelings. He can't do it again. he also can't seem to keep his hands to himself when he's alone with Rhys. It's a strange feeling when sex has never been that important to him before. But if he can catch a line drive straight to his face and complete a difficult play on the field, surely he can control this growing desire as well.

Mel Garcia has few ambitions, at least as far as their academic-driven parents are concerned. But, the like their life just the way it is; working at a local coffee shop, running a program for queer youth, and giving their teenage siblings the emotional support their parents never seem to think important. When cocky catcher Rhys strides into the coffee shop one morning, they know better than to get involved. Yet every interaction draws them deeper into his orbit. Especially as they start to see more behind his carefree demeanor.

Rhys is just starting to think he can have it all when ghosts from his past start to emerge. he tries to ignore them, but that has never solved any problem. If he can't block the wild pitches from his past, he just might face the worst strikeout of his life.
