Triumph

In this conclusion to the Tattered Trilogy, Vidni is lost to her altered memories. She wants nothing more than to please her mother, despite the frightening, and frankly, evil things her mother may ask of her. Vidni's husband is insistent it's for her own good. She isn't so sure, and neither is she certain of the servant who claims to be her friend, and the young court that backs him up in his assertions that they want to save her. Which is completely ridiculous. She is in no need of rescuing. Vidni has everything she needs, and she knows that her mother won't lead her astray.

Right?

Banished to a tower for years until called upon, Beatrice has accepted her role as a future sacrifice for the betterment of, well, everyone. It's why she's on her way to becoming a full-fledged mystic, after all. With her loyal protector and companion at her side, the hour strikes for her to leave her tower behind for good, the occasion arriving in the form of a group of strangers that share her common cause: to defeat Queen Farretta once and for all.

Which is, of course, easier said than done because the witch has made herself immortal. In a final confrontation, they soon realize that a high price must be made for their victory to be ensured, but there's no shying away from the destiny before them. Prince Nador has woven the tapestry and everything relies on them.

And for Celia, there will be nothing left unsaid.
