Spent every spare minute reading it!
Too slow
While the topic itself is an interesting one, the book has serious pacing issues. Certainly less moving then previous novels.
Parts are painstakingly long and slow. Sure detecting may be like that, gathering the tiniest bits of information over months, but reading about it in such detail is boring.
And who needs to know about every fag he lights up?
The characters are interesting though, so you read on and hope that something happens. Like Robin actually growing some backbone and standing up for herself, for her career and her right to choose her own path. She is trying to please everyone… so many women do that. Let’s just stop it, because men sure don’t care about that.
Overall I would like to read more of this duo, but please with a bit more zest.
