Born to a human mother and with a vampire as a father, I never expect life to be normal, so I can't imagine why starting college will be any different.

Acting like a regular person, while fighting my vampire tendencies, make things like joining the school paper a little more complicated.

When a traveling theme park arrives in the small town, the guy running the whirly gig catches my eye. Dark-haired, leather-jacketed Riley is rude, with an air of danger.

I can't help but notice him.

But Sage Springs isn't the quiet little town I'd hoped for. The forests bordering the town hold a secret—one the residents of the town having been trying to protect and the travelers have set in their sights.

As our relationship grows, I have to question how deeply Riley is involved? Will he betray me, or will love win?
