Single parent Olivia Cavanagh has been happily raising the child she had in her teens. Content with her life, she has no desire to date.

When her teenage daughter, Andrea, signs her up on a dating app, a past trauma causes Olivia to hesitate. But after a month of badgering, she agrees to meet police officer Warren Jacobs for a coffee.
