Two Works by Mary Shelley

Two works by the noteworthy early 19th Century British writer Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (1897-1851):   "Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus" (1818), and "The Last Man" (1826).  "The Last Man" is sometimes credited with being the first treatment of the theme that noted British author P. D. James explored in her 1992 novel "Children of Men", upon which the critically-acclaimed 2006 film of the same name was based.  The film received three Academy Award nominations.
