The journey of Aldrick Idramla continues in Book 2 of the Mars Chronicles series and this time, he is not the only human that is trying to survive on the red planet. The stop to PODS-7 brings him in contact with Elarya, a person whom he previously met and helped during a time of chaos. Only fragments of his memories are back, everything is still very unfamiliar to him. He thought his troubles would lessen in PODS-7, but little did he know that he will encounter a greater problem, PODS-7 is not what it used to be. To Aldrick, his journey is bound to have an endless supply of unwanted surprises.
