Unaka

"Unaka" is a collection of short fiction. The stories center around everyday people of Western Kentucky and Upper East Tennessee. The topography of the settings ranges from the flat land of the Ohio river bottom land to the foothills of the southern Appalachain mountains. The issues of the stories concern the struggles of the disenfranchised and unfortunate.The interplay between people who have character and strength and those whom they meet in their lives is present in these tales. The language varies from colloquial speech to standard English.
