UNDERCOVER AGAIN

Why would a young, middle-class woman with a law degree, having a great job as an Assistant District Attorney, decide to place her life in danger by going undercover against a ring of human traffickers? Liz Trent is obsessed with young kids being lured into sex-for-hire "stables" using offers of extra money for modeling careers, and she can't let the traffickers get away with destroying a young girl's life.

Liz's investigations then find evidence of Asian and Eastern European children, even pre-teen girls and boys, imported and sold for sex, as well as Latin Americans being used for slave labor in hotels and casinos, with false promises of citizenship.

This book is a gripping tale of what happens in the underworld of sex and human trafficking, and brings light to its ills in our society. In the very least, it will show that being kidnapped by sex traffickers can happen in the Third World, as well as in our own backyard.

The characters are endearing, and you will wonder how they can continually cope with the trauma they witness others endure and experience themselves. Be prepared to cry with them!
