Victim versus Villains

David van der Linde becomes a victim of a brutal carjacking in a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. Left for dead, he survives a bullet and wakes up in hospital. His life spirals out of control as he struggles with his injury.

Despair grips him as he loses his fiancee, job, house and self-esteem. However, a glance in the mirror at a local gym spurs him into action. His adventures take him into a dangerous township in the dead of night and a chance but violent encounter with his assailant.

Meanwhile, Siphiso Zinane, his protagonist, rises in the ranks of an organised crime ring. Receiving accolades and rewards for his daring armoured car robberies and debt collection, he revels in his newfound status.

White-hot anger and a desire for revenge evaporate doubt and drives David on to hunt down his nemesis and exact a revenge that is hotter than hell.
