Weight Loss, Wellbeing and Wishing

I was born in Sheffield, in 1967, fighting congenital heart disease. By the age of six, I was crippled with arthritis. At nine years of age, I had suffered two strokes and was diagnosed obese. Nevertheless, I overcame each and every one. My “miracle cures” were inspired by wishing.

Blessed with the birth of my son in 1993, Greater Manchester, I fought to finance a “miracle cure” for a blind toddler.

At the age of 42, my health deteriorated and my symptoms were consistent with a possible type 1 diabetes diagnosis.

Determined to overcome the need for insulin, I developed an alternative method of treatment. In 2010, I was told that I’d cured my diabetes.
