Welcome to Oregon

Like many writers, Stella Brown has held a number of day jobs. Some were relatively mundane, such as waiting tables at a country club in the Berkshires. Others have been much more colorful, like teaching English at a cultish boarding school. She juggled some of these jobs while pursuing the elusive single gig with benefits. "Welcome to Oregon" is about Stella's day job as a travel advisor while teaching night classes after her move from Massachusetts to Oregon. Since then, the author has moved to Oregon's capital, where she now lives and works in only one job at a time. With benefits.
