What the Forest Keeps

A naïve woman, a beguiling thief, and a talking rabbit enter an enchanted forest.

Everlight Forest is a place of pure magic, filled with wonders to tantalize those it permits to enter, but woe befall any interlopers. The heart of its magic is kept safe within a farm in its midst, protected by a person called the Keeper.

Silvie Webber is the current Keeper's daughter. When the magic of Everlight is threatened, her mother sends her on a quest into the Forest, despite the fact that Silvie has never left the farm before. But given her upbringing, all she needs to succeed is a map and her talking rabbit, Thimble.

Or so she thought. Dangers lurk everywhere within Everlight, including hostile elves, walking trees, and deadly creatures. Silvie is only spared when she runs into Brenn, a thief by occupation. Though wary of the woman and why she can traverse the Forest so freely, Silvie decides she needs her help.

As they travel deeper into the Forest, secrets are slowly revealed, some that threaten Silvie's future.  After all, enchanted forests do have opinions, and Silvie is about to learn the hard way that those opinions don't always work in her favor.
