From where Simon stood, Mike’s life was perfect. Gorgeous wife, fancy house in the best part of town, amazing car, the top job, and more money than anyone needed. And now it seemed he was having an affair with Nicki, the boss's amazing daughter.

This latest revelation infuriated Simon, but if his plan came together, all of this would soon be his.

Mike’s reality was a long way removed from Simon’s idealised vision. Lizzie’s addictions were destroying their marriage and Nicki’s angst over her relationship challenges was only outweighed by her Father’s unwillingness to include her in the secret side of the company. Even worse, Mike and Will, Nicki’s father, were being blackmailed into providing the world’s most advanced weapon to an international black-market arms dealer.

If Simon’s plan ever worked out, he was in for a terrifying ride.
