Ruth is back (with a new name)! Her handsome new husband, opera singer Del Mays, is performing in Boston. Ruth and her granddaughter, Annika, gather up their art supplies and head north to the vacation capital of Lake Superior-Grand Marais, Minnesota-for a little painting, a little sightseeing, and a little ... murder?? This quaint, quiet town's community theatre is having big trouble-the kind with a body count! And Ruth doesn't like the suspicious characters hanging around the stage door.
