Chaulky is an imaginary cat; a product of Laurens playful nature. Each interaction with other animals however is with real animals. Each animal really exists on the back area of Grandma Vicky and Grandpas house. The book is a silly story of real and imaginary animals and a cat who hides from Lauren.
