Whistleblower

.Fraud, corruption, high-level politics and a stubborn and determined hero.

High level fraud and political corruption is widespread and it is the theft of western foreign aid money that forms the theme of Terry Morgan's international political thriller, "Whistleblower".

During a short time as a politician, the book's main character, Jim Smith, becomes the victim of a sordid campaign to ruin him when he claims that politicians and government bureaucrats are at the heart of massive fraud.

To escape the campaign Jim Smith flees abroad to live a very basic life in rural Thailand but, determined to expose the depth of the corruption and the criminals involved, he  returns home to

But, as one reviewer says: "Smith is not a typical hero. He's older and lacks suaveness and the action-hero credentials of a James Bond or Jason Bourne, but more than makes up for it with his intelligence and depth."

Through Morgan's masterful narration, Jim is a character to be reckoned with - a secret but brilliant artist, a man who refuses to fit into any stereotype and one that, despite his appearance and imperfections, readers are drawn to, not least for his belief that there are far more important things in life than money.

To an anonymous Amazon reader, Jim Smith's moral uprightness "made the book that much more enjoyable."

With all his books, Terry Morgan's background in international trade and experience of working in over 70 countries provides authenticity to his writing and his ability to create memorable characters and ingenious but feasible plots has drawn compliments from many readers.

Goodreads review of Whistleblowe: "Terry Morgan builds the thriller in bricked layers, fleshing out the plot and the characters as the momentum grows. . . giving a reader an ample opportunity to find their bearings without a loss of pace."
