How did a Jasper Springs Library book end up on the streets in a big city far away? That is only one of the mysteries confronting Whiz and Joey as they begin what should be a normal vacation in New York City. Amid all the exploration of the city sights and the tasting of new food, Whiz and Joey find themselves involved in a mysterious countdown. But what happens when the countdown reaches zero? The Tanner-Dent Detective Agency heads back to Jasper Springs to do what they do best--solve the mystery and prevent a crime!
