Beschreibung des Verlags
During the period of 1856 - 1860, thousands of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints crossed the plains in Handcart Companies. They were allowed only 20 lbs. of their personal belongings and left much of their property behind. This is a story of how William Holmes Walker, with divine assistance, transported this property from Winter Quarters to Salt Lake City bringing comfort and much needed supplies to the destitute and grateful Saints.
