Wolves of Sorrow: Hinata

With the pack safely settled on Barif and the novice warriors taking over sentinel duty, Hinata gives in to her need to roam. Accepting a mission on the eastern border, she tracks a man wearing Isram Sakahr's face. A man who challenges her at every turn. A man whose scent doesn't match the scientist he pretends to be.

Wanting to keep a potential enemy within reach of her claws, she offers a deal: travel together and uncover the truth they both seek. But the more she learns about the imposter, the more she likes what she sees. With assassins stalking the streets and a corpse which defies all logic, duty and desire clash with each beautiful note of her partner's mating song.
