An Australian PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER, YOUTH is about Hammer and his three best friends, Ali, Austen and Ez, a group of 'dickhead Melbourne school boys' who are on the threshold of adulthood. It's their final year of secondary school and the time where everything becomes more interesting, complex and at several times, frightening.

YOUTH details how Hammer sees everything, how it affects him, those close and not so close, and how he tackles all of it head on, all the while nursing a severe anxiety disorder that might get the best of him. Next to that, he's got one weird girlfriend, a brother on the run from everything and a celebrated author mentor with her own dark secrets who are all keeping him in check.
