Shadow Protocol

A standalone novel from USA Today Bestselling Author Mike Ryan...

After receiving a cryptic text message, Mara Blackman’s car is forced off the road. A man with a gun following her makes it clear she wasn’t supposed to survive.

Running through the snow with nothing but the clothes on her back, Mara stumbles onto the property of Jack Rimmer, a former CIA operative living off the grid in Montana, two years removed from a world he chose to leave behind. He wasn’t looking for a mission. But when a wounded woman shows up in his barn with a professional killer on her trail, walking away isn’t something Rimmer knows how to do.

What starts as survival becomes something much larger. Now hunted by professionals and operating without official backing, Rimmer and Mara have to locate a missing arms dealer who was supposed to be dead, and military hardware that’s been diverted and sold to the highest bidder. The clock is running. And the people trying to bury it will stop at nothing to finish what they started.
