White Lies

You never know where a lie will take you …

On her way to start a new life teaching high school English in a quaint village nestled in the Cascade Mountains of eastern Washington, Katrina Burton picks up a hitchhiker—a drunken creep. Fearing for her safety, she lies about her destination to get him out of the car. But when she later discovers that he's a teacher at the same school, her lie grows into a tangled web.

Enter Jack Reeves—handsome, charismatic, and strong. He seems like the perfect person to help her escape the lies she's trapped in, and she falls for him quickly. But when Jack becomes entangled in a brutal murder, Katrina faces a difficult choice: expose him or protect him with yet another lie.
