John Derrick Martin, the defendant, was convicted by a jury on four counts of possession and sale of cocaine in various amounts. *fn1 The trial Judge sentenced Martin to consecutive ten-year sentences and imposed a fine of $10,000 for each count. The Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed the convictions, modified the sentences, and remanded the cause to the trial court so that a jury could determine the fine.
